About Scroll:

Scroll is the native zkEVM Layer 2 Solution for Ethereum.

We are committed to building an EVM equivalent ZK-rollup which will be compatible with Ethereum at the bytecode level to help Ethereum become more scalable without sacrificing security.

On the technical side, we are working with the Ethereum Foundation to build zkEVM. On the cultural side, we are deeply inspired by the Ethereum community's values of community-centricity, openness, and collaboration. We believe this cultural and social bonding creates a robust foundation for a global settlement layer and is hardly matched by any other crypto community.

Through Scroll Reward, we aim to help the Scroll community become more diverse and prosperous while supporting more decentralized contributors to build their own projects. We welcome all open source projects, groundbreaking research and all public goods and educational projects that help developers and researchers.

Prizes:

We will set up three awards, Gold, Silver and Bronze. There may be multiple gold or silver or bronze awards at the same time.

  • Gold: $3000

  • Silver: $2000

  • Bronze: $1000

  • Pool Prize: $2000

In addition to financial support, the winning team will be eligible to join the Scroll Mentorship program. Members from the Scroll R&D team will support the winning project for a month.

Submission Criteria:

Should be deployed either on Scroll testnet/ Ethereum mainnet.

Ideas and Inspirations:

  • Any creative applications

  • Open source dev tooling

  • Developers and researchers education/onboarding projects

  • Ethereum research improvement (such as EIP etc.)
